Issuing a temporary certificate for submitting to bids for government projects

A service provided to the establishments that want to be qualified by the Ministry of Investment to apply for government project competitions to apply for a temporary certificate, which enables it to submit to bids for government projects in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 405

Required Documents

A copy of the commercial register of the establishment in its home country certified by the Saudi embassy.
Submitting the financial statements for the last three years, prepared by an internationally accredited chartered accounting firm, provided that the audit report is free of blemishes Notes.
Submission of completion certificates for three projects previously executed by the company as a major contractor in the past seven years, each of which increases the value of the projects required for the first-class contractors approved by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of Saudi Arabia.
Submission of a copy of the Quality Management Certificate - ISO 9001 (valid)
Submission of a copy of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certificate or any valid alternative certificates.
Submission of a copy of a valid OSHAS 18001 Occupational Safety Certificate.
Submission of an acknowledgment confirming the reliability of the information provided and that the person signing is authorized to make decisions and for the document to explain means of communication.
Entity's National Address
Entity's Articles of Association certified from Saudi Embassy.

Service Conditions

The duration of the certificate is only one year.
This certificate does not authorize the establishment to issue a commercial register.
In case of assigning the government contract to the establishment, it is not entitled to implement the contract unless it obtains a service license or a temporary license to implement one government/semi-government contract
For the company's past three years total revenues of the financial statements preceding the certificate request, to be more than 500,000,000 SAR.
For to company to achieve profits in three financial statements from the last five previous financial years in order to request a temporary certificate.
For all required documents to be certified by the Saudi embassy in the country where the certificate applicant is located.
